This fabulous jacket was shown in the Chanel 06A catalog where only the best of the Collection was featured. Chanel describes it as "washed black velvet fitted jacket with chains" It is fabulous. "Washed velvet” is cotton, slightly heavier than regular velvet, not as soft but with more body, and with a character much more suited for all the chains on this outfit, than a soft pliable velvet. Chains around collar and jacket hem, seams jacket front and back, and around wrists. At one end of each chain is a metal bow, 1/2" across. Just for fun I measured the total length of all the chain-over 40 feet! plus 20 metal bows, and 6 Chanel buttons (3 on each wrist). Very flattering style, fitted jacket.

• Shoulder to end of sleeve 22"(each sleeve has small shoulder pads, and 3 chanel buttons)
• Bust 36" (no sign of it having been altered, but the bust measurement runs small)
• Waist 31"
• Measurement around the bottom 37"
